Brown Bear Day Care - Teacher owned
I am open from 5 a.m. Monday to 5 a.m. on Saturday. I am available by appointment on weekends.
I am CPR/first aid certified. I exceed the 20 hours training required for registered day care homes. I am in the process of getting my CDA, which will allow me to become licensed.
I have 2 playrooms and a large, fenced-in back yard. We have a lot of toys that are rotated monthly. I clean the toys every night and wash blankets weekly.
For preschoolers, I use the A Beka Language curriculum, flash cards, circle time, Bible stories and activities. We play with play-dough, paint, draw, write, and practice using scissors. I teach some skills using computer games, such as Jump Start Preschool.
For schoolers, I provide homework assistance. I also have supervised internet access available for research or children's games.
