Mayflower Preschool recently earned accreditation in the new NAEYC Accreditation system. This involved going through an extensive self-study process measuring the program and its services against the ten new NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related Accreditation Criteria.

Established in 1968, Mayflower Preschool is a state licensed, nonprofit organization.  The preschool is administered by the Mayflower Preschool Council.  The council is comprised of Mayflower parents and community members who have a dedicated interest in the growth and development of preschool children. 

Mission Statement

To create a warm, learning environment that stimulates creativity and produces an atmosphere conducive to developing a positive self-image for each child.  Our Program has enough structure to provide security, but enough freedom so that the child can explore, develop and grow emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.
