Description of Special Services
Nighttime & Overnight Care
Nighttime and overnight care is available 6-days a week. A discounted rate of $120.00 per week applies to full time care for children ages 18-months to 3-years; and, $110.00 per week for children ages 4-years and up. Full time care is considered any five nights and may include Saturdays.
***All full time evening and overnight care is by * **contract.
Weekend Care
Saturday care is available for $30.00 per day or night regardless of age and may be with or without ***contract.
Drop-in Care
Drop-in care is available 6-days a week for $6.00 per hour up to 4 hours, payable at the time you drop off your child. After 4 hours, a flat rate of $30.00 is charged for up to 12 hours of care. Any amount of time past 12 hours will be charged the daily/nightly rate of $30.00 regardless the amount of time spent in care up to an additional 12 hours. For example:
If your child stays 1 hour, then the fee is $6.00. 2 hours: $12.00. 3 hours: $18.00. 4 hours: $24.00.
If your child stays over 4 hours but less than 12, then the fee is billed at the daily/nightly rate of $30.00.
If you child stays one minute over 12 hours (figuratively speaking) but less than 24, then the fee is $60.00.
Requests for drop-in care should be made with as much advanced notice as possible. Acceptance of children is based on availability of space at the time care is needed.
Should you ever anticipate needing drop-in care, please stop by for a visit and pick-up the paperwork to have filled out and on file in advance.
**Drop-in care is not available for children under the age of 18 months.
Concerning Care Hours...
The above times reflect traditional care hours. They are not subject to any particular criteria and may be adjusted to fit your scheduling so long as ratios are maintained. For example, you may need child care until 8:00 p.m. or perhaps a combination of care during the week and on weekends. It's okay to "customize" so long as drop off and pick up times are consistent or approved at least one week a head of time.
***Contract care guarantees your child a spot in the caregiver/child ratio and all fees are due regardless of whether or not your child attends.
Drop-in care is limited and may or may not be available when you need it.
Both daily and nightly child care is available 6-days a week, year round by contract and on a drop-in basis.
Best Care Children's Center does not provide part time care by contract. All part time care is on a drop in basis provided by space availability.
